i read a bulletin today and it went like this...
you see, when you're on tour (or just playing), sometimes it's better to play a show and not get paid, than to not play a show at all. ya dig? ...i mean, it's like, getting the chance to fucken tear it up is payment enough, cuz it's such a catharsis, a cleansing, that everything else just doesn't matter.
it rang true to my ears, maybe it does the same for you.
