self-imposed gagball

it/s been awhile since the last post...laziness? no, it hasn/t been. we are preparing for our next show and writing even more music. the show at super happy funland was mixed.
sound-terrible.
unity-absent.
sobriety-far removed.
friends-in abundance.
fun-everytime we play.
the bands that played with us, were as far from the same vein as possible. in a way, i suppose that it is a good thing. there will not be many bands like us at our shows... we should get use to it. we had some raw punk bands, almost dead kennedy'ish and there was some ambient-art bands playing as well. overall i enjoyed the majority of it. the hippy that runs that joint was a total jerk but then i suppose patchouli can do that to you.

dan johnson played steel with us and he was amazing. he/s come to a couple practices and he adds so much to the landscape. hopefully, his schedule will allow his participation more often than not.

we are playing a going away party for one of jenna/s friends at the proletariat on sept.17 and we are anxiously waiting on that. he saw us play and wanted us to bid him a farewell... he is going to new zealand. lucky bastard, that is probably as close to heaven as you can get (outside of texas).

i will not abandon you for so long again.
